Freelance Financial Management Expert Cum Consultant

I am a qualified Finance Professional having Fellow Membership of the CIMA-FCMA, ACCA and the CGMA with long years of Senior Management experience in Sri Lanka as well as overseas exposure in lieu of my position as the Regional Risk and Compliance Manager of the British Council for the South Asian Region for almost 3 years.

Presently I’m the Financial. Consultant for a well-established group of companies in Sri Lanka, providing optional online services whilst overseas. I render overall guidance and support Financial Management, Corporate Planning, Treasury Management, System Compliance Aspects, Company Risk Management Aspects and Review Finance Function and Report on Procedures and Compile Reports, HR Payroll Accounting and Coordinate Tax Matters. The finance unit comprises 17 staff members and I report to the Managing Director domiciled in Canada. I hold this position to date with over 3 years of continual hands -on job experience.

I possess extensive post qualifying experience of over 35 years in Finance, Management and related disciplines including General Management of diversified and reputed companies.

I have held the positions of General Manager/Head of Finance and Corporate Planning and Systems Development, General Manager/Head of Internal Audit, Head of Treasury and Head of Operations of large well-established companies in Sri Lanka. (and been the Regional Manager Risk and Compliance for South Asian Region of the British Council Check – repetition).
